Because that was the day I got to see it. I mean it says Today is the Day.... then I go on to say what for.

Saw Napoleon Dynamite Friday night (yes, still in theaters) along with a bunch of teenagers who obviously knew the dialog but were respectful of those who might not. I could feel the beginning of a cult classic all around me.

I kept trying to figure out where I knew Tina Majorino from - she was REALLY familiar. I had to look it up to realize she was Alice in Wonderland from the version we have watched a lot.

I have ordered the movie in pre-release.
